Borussia Dortmund reportedly offered Spezia a €22m total deal for defender Jakub Kiwior, which was rejected by the Ligurian outfit.
The 22-year-old Polish centre back has been quietly impressing with the Aquilotti since his arrival from MSK Zilinia in August 2021. Costing only €2.2m, Kiwior has exceeded expectations in Liguria and attracted the attention of a number of top clubs, with Juventus and Milan both seemingly leading the charge for the defender.
As reported by TMW, Borussia Dortmund launched a concrete move for Kiwior and proposed a €22m total bid to Spezia for the centre back, which was rejected. The Aquilotti are confident that they can earn a little more from the talent, who is contracted to the club until 2025.
Both Juventus and Milan are expected to come forward for Kiwior in the summer, when they’ll have access to greater resources.
Kiwior’s work with Spezia saw him earn a call up to the Polish national team and he played almost every available minute in their World Cup campaign in Qatar.
