Torino coach Ivan Juric clashed with sporting director Davide Vagnati as the club negotiate the sale of Sasa Lukic to Fulham.

La Stampa details how the Croatian coach spent a few minutes on the pitch after the 2-2 draw with Empoli, initially talking to a member of his staff before then having a heated discussion with Vagnati. The reason for the quarrel, similar to what happened in the summer, is disagreements over the transfer market.

Torino are currently working on selling Lukic to Fulham for around €12m, a player that Juric would like to have in his squad until the summer.

For months now the coach has been complaining about an incomplete squad and has wanted two new signings, a midfielder and a striker. The first has arrived, Ivan Ilic, but the hope was that he’d be an addition and not replacement for Lukic.

Torino’s concern is that they may not be able to receive as much for the player in the summer as they can now.

Juric and Vagnati came to blows in the summer and a video leaked showing a heated argument between the pair at the Granata’s training ground.
