Multiple sources in Italy suggest a formal proposal has been lodged to sign him on loan with option to buy for anywhere between €17m and €23m, including bonuses.

“We are trying to get Rafinha, but it’s not easy,” the Nerazzurri Coach told InterDipendenza.net.

Rafinha has not played since April 2017 due to injury problems, so a medical would be an essential step in any transfer.

Meanwhile, Inter are said to be on the verge of clinching defender Lisandro Lopez on loan with option to buy from Benfica.

Hindered by Financial Fair Play parameters, the Nerazzurri are also in talks with Jiangsu Suning for the loan of midfielder Ramires.
