Inter boss Luciano Spalletti admits Manchester United target Ivan Perisic had a problem – with his tooth.
Perisic has travelled with Inter to China for their preseason tour of Asia, amidst speculation that he still wants to join United, but while Spalletti stated he could still count on the Croat, he vowed not to “lie” to the fans.
“I would’ve liked a few more days to work with the team, but there are some brand-specific needs, which we must tend to,” he said before taking a flight to China.

“We have to adjust, but like Milan, we’ll also find another Inter ‘stronghold’.
“The transfer market? I know that sometimes you go looking for shortcuts, but we had some obligations relating to UEFA.
“However, the club have remained available: we’re looking at a few things and obviously trying to conclude them.
“As for Ivan, I won’t lie about him: he had a problem with his tooth. The fans must know the truth.”
