Luciano Spalletti feels Napoli are ‘on the right track’ after their remarkable 3-0 pre-season friendly win away to Bayern Munich.
Victor Osimhen scored two goals before the late Zinedine Machach curler in Munich.
“I am satisfied with the performance, we are on the right track,” Spalletti told the official Napoli website.
“The fundamental thing today was to get minutes in our legs. We had to give the idea of an organised team, and I think we achieved that.
“The goals then gave us more confidence in our capabilities. There’s a lot of work still to be done, but we’re going the right way and everyone has exceeded my expectations so far.”
Lorenzo Insigne and Giovanni Di Lorenzo are due to arrive for pre-season training on Monday, having been given extra time off after helping Italy to win UEFA EURO 2020.
