Luciano Spalletti didn’t take Diego Demme’s injury too well as, according to La Repubblica newspaper, the Napoli coach strongly reproached Pro Vercelli players during the half-time break.

The 29-year-old was carried off with a knee injury after just 15 minutes of action and after several minutes of treatment, he was eventually carried off the field by two members of the Napoli medical staff.

La Repubblica newspaper reports Napoli coach Spalletti didn’t take the injury well and blamed Pro Vercelli players for it.

The Tuscan tactician reportedly confronted the player of the Serie C side during the break, telling them they had been too aggressive in the first half.

The Azzurri confirmed on Sunday that their midfielder has suffered a knee ligament injury.
