SPAL and Albania international goalkeeper Etrit Berisha has been hospitalised with COVID-19 symptoms, confirmed his club.
The Serie B side released a statement noting the 31-year-old tested positive for COVID-19 on November 27.
Over the last few hours, he was hospitalised at the COVID-19 specialist ward in the Ospedale di Cona for further tests.
Berisha spent most of his career in Italy, joining Lazio in 2013.
He also had experiences with Atalanta and has been at SPAL since 2019.
