SPAL will reportedly look to sign Atalanta goalkeeper Etrit Berisha if Sporting CP loanee Emiliano Viviano is not retained.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, the Biancazzurri have already opened talks with a view to bringing in the Albanian shot-stopper.

The 30-year-old joined Atalanta from Lazio in 2016 but only played 22 times last season as he lost his place to Italy new boy Pierluigi Gollini.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, the Biancazzurri have already opened talks with a view to bringing in the Albanian shot-stopper.

The 30-year-old joined Atalanta from Lazio in 2016 but only played 22 times last season as he lost his place to Italy new boy Pierluigi Gollini.

He could be replaced at the Azzurri d’Italia by Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli, possibly to help the Dea comply with UEFA’s Homegrown Player Rule ahead of their first-ever Champions League campaign.
