Marca are leading assertions that Napoli’s Callejon, top scorer in Serie A this season, is in line to represent his country for the first time.
Speculation is that the 27-year-old will be named in Del Bosque’s squad to be named at 11.30 GMT today.
Callejon made four appearances for the Under-21 side, but has never played a senior international game.
