“Should we choose between Scudetto and Europa League? We want to win always. We intend to grow consistently, bring home points and fight on all fronts.
“Ilicic is an important player in the transitions, so he is fundamental playing between the lines. His goals were decisive to seal the win.
“It was a very difficult match, as our opponents defended well and tried to hurt us on the counter-attack. Today we saw a team that wanted to bring home the three points with grit.
“We knew it would be tough and that it was essential we keep the right balance. Perhaps we didn’t play with the same tempo as usual, partly due to the cold, but we had more shots from outside the box and Giuseppe Rossi always tried to run into space.
“The positioning of players is very important and we are constantly working to improve this aspect.”
