Juventus have given Matias Soule a clear ultimatum as the transfer market battle between Roma and Leicester City continues to rage on.

Both the Giallorossi and the Foxes have submitted offers to the Old Lady for the 21-year-old, with the latter offering better terms than Daniele De Rossi’s side. Things are not so simple for Juventus, however, as the Argentinian talent has taken a firm position.

Soule has already agreed to join Roma and has made it clear that he isn’t interested in a move to Leicester City, leaving Juventus in a difficult spot as they look to cash in on the talented forward before reinvesting that money in Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners.

Soule ultimatum

Page three of today’s Corriere dello Sport details how there was a meeting between Soule and Juventus’ directors, where they made it clear that the player had to either accept a fair offer from the Premier League or be relegated to the Next Gen squad, seemingly ruling out a move to Roma.

The 21-year-old did not back down and reportedly suggest that he would only leave the club for the Giallorossi.

Technically, Soule is not eligible to play for the Juventus Next Gen squad in Serie C because he’s already played more than 50 Serie A games for the Old Lady and Frosinone.

  1. What awful management from the club. How to handle a situation badly for the sake of trying to grab an extra few million. I hope he continues to stand his ground.

  2. Kostic, Rougani, Mireti, De Schiglio,Schezny, Gati they should go first. Not top young players like Huishen and Soule. Giountolli the big director…. 😂😂😂😂
