Roma have booked in the usual pre-transfer medicals for Matias Soule as they push to complete the deal for the Juventus talent.

The Giallorossi beat out tough competition from Leicester City for the 21-year-old Argentinian forward, who impressed last season on loan with Frosinone, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists in 39 appearances.

Roma have agreed to sign Soule from Juventus for €26m plus €2m in easily accessible add-ons and €2m in tougher to activate add-ons, adding an intriguing talent to Daniele De Rossi’s squad. The sale will allow the Old Lady to move forward for their targets in the market.

Gianluca Di Marzio details how Roma have booked in medicals for Soule in the Italian capital on Monday morning, ready to complete the deal with Juventus.

Should everything go to plan, the 21-year-old Argentinian forward will put pen to paper on a five-year contract worth circa €2m net per season plus add-ons, ready to start a new adventure under De Rossi.
