Juventus are waiting for a new offer from Leicester City for Matias Soulé. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri feel that the Premier League club is more ‘credible’ than Roma.

Serie A giants Juventus are waiting for an offer between €35m and €40m for Argentinean talent Soulé, scorer of 11 league goals with Frosinone last season.

Thiago Motta is aware that the club will have to sell the winger for a substantial bid, and Juventus have already rejected an offer worth €30m, including add-ons from Leicester City.

Tuttosport claims that Juventus won’t lower their asking price, while Gazzetta insists that Leicester City are still leading the race.

Soulé: Juventus wait for new offers and feel Leicester more credible than Roma

According to the pink paper, Juventus directors believe the Foxes are more ‘credible’ than Roma because they are more likely to match their asking price.

Furthermore, if Juventus receive the same offer from both Leicester and Roma, they will likely accept the one coming from England to avoid facing Soulé as an opponent next season.

Nevertheless, the situation is pretty fluid at the moment, and Soulé would be happy to join either club or even stay at Juventus.

As per Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma will soon make an opening offer, which may be around €25m, still lower than Leicester’s opening bid.

  1. I agree with you, hiwever, he is still young so this mistake could be short term. Let’s see, going to roma would be a considerable downsizing but Leicester isn’t much better. If I’m him I’d push to stay and force Motta to get him in the 1st team and play CL football.
