Roma are closing in on an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of exciting youngster Matias Soule according to multiple outlets in Italy, but the Old Lady are still pushing to get the most out of their asset as possible.

Transfer experts Fabrizio Romano, Matteo Moretto and Gianluca Di Marzio all agree that Roma are moving closer to finally agreeing a deal for Soule, who had also received an enticing offer from newly-promoted Premier League side Leicester City.

How much Roma have offered Juventus for Soule

Roma’s latest offer is reportedly made up of around €30m with bonuses included. Di Marzio adds that that is an increase of €2m on the up-front offer, and around €1m extra in bonuses.

More specifically, the offer is reported to be worth €26m up front, plus up to €4m in bonuses.

Juventus, meanwhile, are still confident that they can fetch upwards of €30m for the 21-year-old Argentine. The Bianconeri would reportedly like €30m up front, plus several million in easily-achievable bonuses.

According to Wednesday’s updates, Soule only ever wanted to join Roma, even though Leicester may have offered more to both Juventus and the player, financially speaking.

The player and his representatives also recently sat down for a meeting with delegates from Juventus, where Soule maintained his stance that he would like to join Roma if he has to leave Turin permanently.

Juve, meanwhile, are keen to move the player on as swiftly as possible, as they plan to use the funds from his sale to help land Atalanta playmaker Teun Koopmeiners.
