Chievo Verona have warned clubs interested in Stefano Sorrentino that they’ll have to pay his true transfer worth.
The goalkeeper will turn 34 in March, but the club’s sporting director has insisted he won’t be sold on the cheap.
“Whoever wants Sorrentino will have to pay his market value,” Giovanni Sartori told ItaSportPress on Monday. “Sorrentino is not worth €500,000, he is worth over €2m!”

The goalkeeper, contracted to the Stadio Bentegodi outfit until 2014, has been linked with Inter in recent days.
“I’m not aware of an offer from Inter for him,” Sartori added. “Maybe the player and his agent have spoken to them, but I haven’t had direct contact with the Nerazzurri.”
Sorrentino is also of interest to Palermo and Bologna.
