Palermo goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino will miss the next Serie A game against Atalanta after crashing his car.
The 36-year-old shot-stopper was driving his Porsche in Palermo when it crashed into a wall dividing two carriageways.
He was taken via ambulance to the local hospital and told he needs seven days to recover from various cuts and bruises.
It means Sorrentino won’t be available to play this weekend’s game against Atalanta, but was not seriously hurt.
