Verona won’t take up their €4m option on Danish defender Frederik Sorensen, so he can return to Juventus.

The centre-back spent this season on loan at the Stadio Bentegodi, putting together 10 Serie A appearances and one in the Coppa Italia.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Verona have decided not to active their €4m option to make the move permanent.

This means the 23-year-old will return to base at Juventus pending another switch elsewhere.
