Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s two sons Maximilian and Vincent will reportedly join the Milan youth system.

The 40-year-old Swedish veteran returned to Milanello recently to continue his recovery following a recent knee operation, and the player did not come alone. Ibrahimovic was previously dividing his time between Italy and Sweden, where his wife Helena and two sons Maximilian and Vincent lived, but now they’ve joined their father in Milan.

As reported by Corriere della Sera, both Maximilian and Vincent will be registered with the Milan youth system, with the former joining the Under-17 squad and the latter being integrated in the Under-15 side. Neither player is a striker like their father, with both playing in the midfield.

The bond between Ibrahimovic and Milan is growing ever-stronger, adding weight to the theory that he’ll join the club as a director once his playing career draws to a close. The 40-year-old is expected to return to the pitch in early 2023, after the World Cup in Qatar.
