Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said ‘it’s a chance to have a look at’ loanee Diogo Dalot when they face Milan at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese full-back moved to San Siro on loan last summer and the 21-year-old has played 20 competitive games for the Rossoneri this term.

Dalot has scored two goals and contributed two assists, and Solskjaer stressed it will be a good opportunity to check out his progress.

“It’s a chance to have a look at him for both sets of fans. We’re happy with Diogo, that he went there to get the experience of playing for such a massive, iconic club and getting the standards required every single week.”

With Theo Hernandez unavailable, Dalot is expected to start at left-back for Milan tonight.
