Inter midfielder Wesley Sneijder felt his side deserved to beat Bayern Munich at San Siro last night.
Unfortunately there was no repeat of the Champions League Final seven months ago when Inter won 3-2.
This time, the Nerazzurri lost 1-0 after a mistake from Julio Cesar allowed Mario Gomez to score in the 90th minute.
"We deserved to win," Sneijder said.
"We played well and instead a defeat arrived."
Inter now have a slight mountain to climb in Munich in two weeks' time.
