Sneijder wants Inter stay

Wesley Sneijder says he'd like to stay at Inter – although he admits that he can't rule out a move to Manchester United.

The Premiership giants are keen on the Dutchman who could be sold by Inter if an offer of around €35m is made.

"If the club decides to sell me then I'll go, but it would be disappointing," the midfielder told Vanity Fair.

"I'd miss the city of Milan and also Inter.

"However, football is like this. When I was sold to Inter I would have preferred to stay in Spain with Real Madrid.

"But in 10 minutes everything changed."

New Inter boss Gian Piero Gasperini was also asked about the international midfielder earlier today.

"Sneijder is here and he has a desire to stay," the tactician noted. "He is a top player and he is at Inter today.

"However, there are still 50 days to go in the transfer market and it is hard to predict what will happen."
