Inter have reportedly saved themselves close to €30m after selling Wesley Sneijder to Galatasaray.
The Dutchman confirmed last night that he would be joining the Turkish outfit after being made available by the San Siro giants.
The creative midfielder, who recently rejected a request by the Nerazzurri to take a 30 per cent pay cut, has been sold for €7.5m.
The Gazzetta dello Sport says that fee will rise if certain bonus clauses are activated. Sneijder has signed until June 2016 for a €5.5m a season salary.
Had the former Real Madrid man remained at Inter until the end of his contract then he would have cost the club almost €30m gross in wages.
