The Dutchman is a reported Manchester United target, but he currently finds himself in China ahead of Saturday's clash with Milan.

"I'm a footballer, I have many objectives and I want to win because I enjoy winning," he stated. "Saturday is the first big challenge of the season.

"Playing the Super Cup in Beijing is cool and will be great fun. It's the derby, too, of course, so it will be a great match.

"I'm really pleased to be here. I like this country and the people. Seeing all of this Nerazzurri passion will be a great motivator to win for our Chinese fans.

"I had never been here before and am really enjoying it. I really hadn't been expecting anything quite like it.

"I've seen so many supporters, it's great fun and this is a wonderful country, where football is a very popular sport."

Sneijder's future has also been questioned given that he's been asked to play in a deeper midfield role to be accommodated in Coach Gian Piero Gasperini's 3-4-3 system.

"Gasperini is good at his job and has made some changes," he added. "We are all well and will play our game.

"I've played for many Coaches and each one has been different from the others, but Jose Mourinho is still the one I liked best both as a Coach and as a man."
