Lazio midfield star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic blames Arturo Vidal for the red card shown to Ciro Immobile in the second half of Lazio-Inter.

The Italy striker was sent off after 70 minutes following a bust-up with Inter’s newcomer. The Chile star brought down Immobile from behind, went close to the striker, probably to urge him to stand up quickly, and the striker flapped at him with an angry hand. Vidal went down clutching his face, prompting a straight red card for a ‘reaction foul’ for the Lazio striker.

The Serbian praised the team for the reacion shown in the second half: “We didn’t play well in the first 45 minutes. We spoke in the dressing room and we said we should have done more. We changed mentality in the second half and we took one point.

“Luckily the break is coming, it will help us to recover because the Champions League comes next. We are thrilled to play in the competition after many years, we’ll do our best to go ahead.”
