Chris Smalling trained with his teammates this morning for the first time in over one month reports Sky Sport Italia.
The English defender had suffered a muscle injury in Roma‘s 2-1 loss against Milan on September 1 and hasn’t featured for the Giallorossi since.
Sky Sport Italia’s correspondent Angelo Mangiante says Smalling completed the entire training session with his teammate at Trigoria this morning so he could be available against Monza on Sunday.
José Mourinho will address the media at a press conference on Saturday on the eve of the next home Serie A match.
Smalling has played 146 games for the Giallorossi and his contract at the Stadio Olimpico expires in June 2025.
