Hellas Verona are reportedly on the verge of signing a deal with Igor Tudor, who is set to replace Eusebio Di Francesco at the Bentegodi after having terminated his contract with Juventus.
Tudor was Andrea Pirlo’s assistant at the Allianz Stadium last term and was still contractually tied to the Bianconeri.
But Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports Tudor has terminated his contract with the Old Lady and is expected to sign with the Gialloblu this afternoon.
Hellas Verona officially announced the departure of Eusebio Di Francesco after only three Serie A games in 2021-22 and have reportedly decided to go for Tudor as his successor.
Tudor is expected to sign a deal until June, with an option to extend if the club reaches safety in Serie A.
Di Francesco started the season with three defeats and has not won in Serie A since November 2020, as he went 19 games between Cagliari and Verona without a win.
