Former Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha is having a medical ahead of a move to Premier League side Brentford, according to reports in Italy.
The Albania No. 1 is a free agent after his seven-year association with the Biancocelesti ended in the summer.
And Sky Sport Italia write he is undergoing a medical ahead of a move to Brentford.
In recent weeks, Strakosha had been linked with Premier League sides Fulham and even Manchester United.
The 27-year-old established himself as Lazio’s first-choice goalkeeper in 2016 when he returned after a loan spell with Salernitana.
One of Strakosha’s highlights at Lazio was saving a 97th-minute penalty from Paulo Dybala to ensure his side beat Juventus 2-1 at the Allianz Stadium in 2017.
In all, he made 208 appearances and won the Coppa Italia twice – he was a sub in the infamous 2013 win over Roma – and the Supercoppa on two occasions.
