Roma forward Nicolò Zaniolo didn’t travel to Norway and has reportedly recovered ahead of the match against Napoli this weekend.

Sky Sport Italia reports Jose Mourinho had the players sleep at Trigoria after the shocking 6-1 defeat to Bodo/Glimt in the UEFA Europa Conference League, before training in the morning.

The coach sent a signal and hopes to have recovered the mental energy in view of the big game against Serie A leaders Napoli this weekend.

Zaniolo was not in the travelling party but has, according to the broadcaster, recovered from a knee injury and should be in contention for .

The 22-year-old has played 10 competitive games with La Lupa since returning from the second ACL rupture and has contributed one goal and one assist in the process.
