Serie A clubs could pull their Sky games off the air if the broadcaster does not pay up by July 12.
Although Serie A has now resumed, Gazzetta dello Sport and Advanced Television report Sky has yet to pay sides its sixth and final instalment of €131m for TV rights.
Consequently, all 20 are threatening to cut off Sky’s transmission of matches for the remaining three weeks of the season if they do not receive the funds owed to them.

Serie A clubs will hold an assembly meeting via conference call on June 30, where the issue of TV rights is set to be discussed.
Until now, Sky has refused to pay because of the coronavirus pandemic, which left it without any live sports to broadcast, and because it honoured its previous instalment early.
DAZN – the other rights holder – has similarly yet to cough up, but Advanced Television assures the streaming giant has ‘promised’ to do so by next month.
