Napoli have reportedly reached an agreement to sign former Roma defender Juan Jesus on a free transfer.

The Brazilian centre-back, who arrived in Serie A and Inter in January 2012, was released by the Giallorossi after 2020-21.

Napoli have, according to Sky Sport Italia, swooped for the free agent and have reached an agreement with the versatile defender.

Juan Jesus has played 181 times in Serie A during and seems set to prolong his stay in Italy by signing with the Partenopei.

The former Inter and Roma defender has reportedly agreed to sign a one-year contract at the Stadio Diego Maradona and reunite with coach Luciano Spalletti, who replaced Gennaro Gattuso ahead of 2021-22.

Juan Jesus has been capped four times by Brazil and played 102 competitive games during his time with La Lupa.
