Sky Sport Italia reports José Mourinho has picked Andrea Belotti as Romelu Lukaku’s strike partner for a key Serie A game against Napoli tonight.

It kicks off at 19:45 GMT at the Stadio Olimpico.

Dybala is injured, while Lukaku returns to the starting XI after serving a one-match ban in last weekend’s away loss to Bologna at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

Belotti was in contention with Stephan El Shaarawy and Serdar Azmoun for a spot in the starting XI, and according to Sky Sport Italia’s correspondent Angelo Mangiante, Mourinho has picked Il Gallo for tonight’s fixture.

Roma hope Dybala will return next week against Juventus, but he is more likely to get back onto the pitch in 2024. Belotti has scored six goals in 17 appearances across all competitions this season, three in 11 Serie A games.

Sky also reports Lorenzo Pellegrini and Leonardo Spinazzola will start on the bench against Napoli, so Edoardo Bove and Nicola Zalewski are expected to feature in the Giallorossi starting XI.
