Milan‘s meeting in Belgium with Club Brugge over a deal for Charles De Ketelaere has ended with no agreement found, according to reports in Italy.

The 21-year-old is a target for the Rossoneri and, despite reports of interest from Premier League clubs, it appears he prefers a move to San Siro.

Sky Sport Italia report a meeting on Wednesday with Brugge officials ended positively but without an agreement.

The report suggests that, despite not striking a deal, the meeting was “cordial” and there is hope on both sides that an agreement can be found.

Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massaro are set to return to Italy later on Wednesday but talks will continue, the report added.

Recent reports have suggested Milan face competition from Premier League duo Leeds United and Everton, who would be willing to pay a higher fee, but the midfielder would prefer a move to San Siro.

  1. why do milan fans have to suffer so much every single time before we can get a good player? why do we take months and months? just have a look at lukaku, koulibally, de ligt, pogba, dybala, bremer ….. other take days if not hours …… milan take months!!!!! and then botman goes to newcastle – sanchez threatens to go to PSG ……. I simply do not understand all this …… where is it leading to???!!!

  2. I myself am surprised that a whole club like ACMILAN would find it difficult to get deals done…is surprising that ACMILAN would be prizing players and I begin to ask myself what was the purpose of selling the club if there are no huge investment for the Mercato transfer…is really apalling

  3. What was going through Maldini’s mind as he returned home: “Here came this new crazy time, when it’s better to have, than not to have money!” 😆😂

  4. Because other team payed the price they ask

  7. This directors always makes us feel worried, why are you afraid of spending on such a young talent boy. We don’t want Botman situation to repeat again🙏

  8. I don’t understand what Maldini abd others do think abt the transfer Market, y do we now change ownership, Wen team are purchased the invest in the team, Milan own is opposite yet to sign any player and transfer deadline is less than 2 weeks

  9. This was known before the meeting took place, it was never going to be agreed today. The takeover isn’t even expected to complete until September so expectations on transfer fees need to be managed. So, to quote Rosario, calm down.

  10. We were totally not happy about the Milan management meeting in bruge. We thought that the cdk deal will be found today, but unfortunately the deal is yet to be conclude.
