Sky Sport Italia reports Inter have offered PSV Eindhoven €12m for Denzel Dumfries, but the Dutch side are asking for at least €14m.

The broadcaster believes there’s a €2m gap between offer and demand and claims Inter continue to negotiate for Dumfries, who emerged as a target for the Nerazzurri earlier this summer.

Sky Sport Italia reports PSV Eindhoven are asking for €14m the morning after TMW claimed Inter were confident of closing a deal at under €20m.

So far, the report believes Inter have only offered €12m, as they expect lengthy negotiations that will go all the way until the end of the transfer window.

The 25-year-old, capped 23 times by Holland, arrived at PSV in July 2018 and has a deal until June 2023 in Eindhoven.

He has played 124 competitive games, contributing 16 goals and 20 assists, since joining from Heerenveen three years ago.

The other name Inter are working hard to secure is Nahitan Nandez of Cagliari, as the Uruguayan has publicly taken a clear position, asking the Rossoblu to let him leave.

  1. I can’t believe inter are low balling an already low balled player. As an inter fan I wish another club comes with 15m and take him because this is embarrassing they already made at least 180m from hakimi and lukaku and cut off a few players salaries like ninja and now you’d think they’d have the decency to go in and fill these gaps. They sign old Dzeko for free and now they are playing tough with Zapata and Dumfries and Correa. This is probably the most painful year for me as an inter fan and I’ve been through a lot of pain with this team!
