Sky Sport Italia claims Paulo Fonseca will meet Marseille tomorrow, but he’s not expected to accept their offer as he waits for an offer from Milan.

The ex-Roma coach has emerged as the absolute priority for the Rossoneri, who will part ways with Stefano Pioli at the end of the season.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Fonseca and the Ligue 1 side will meet tomorrow, May 22.

Sky: Fonseca meets Marseille but sets eyes on Milan

Reporter Peppe Di Stefano said it would be a “decisive” meeting, but Marseille “don’t have many chances” to convince the 51-year-old.

Sportmediaset, via Milannews, even claims Fonseca has already rejected the chance to join Lille’s domestic rivals.

According to Sky Sport, however, Milan are waiting for the meeting between Fonseca and Marseille and if it doesn’t end well, they’ll make a formal offer to the Portuguese coach.

According to several sources, Mark Van Bommel is Milan’s secondary option, while Roberto De Zerbi is not being considered for the role.
