The Stamford Bridge side will sign Higuain on a six-month loan until June, but with obligation of a further one-season loan dependent on certain targets achieved by both the player and the team.

These details were outlined by Sky Sport Italia transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio.

This deal was struck after the Supercoppa victory, which saw Juventus beat Milan 1-0 in Jeddah.

Higuain was on the bench for most of the game, officially due to ‘fever’, but came on for the final 20 minutes.

Milan signed Higuain on loan for one season at a cost of €18m with option to buy for a further €36m.

Sky Sport Italia claim his six months at San Siro still cost Milan approximately €17m between loan and salary.

There were also reports from CalcioNews24.com that Higuain's brother Nicolas is already in London working out personal terms.

Pipita will reunite with his former Napoli Coach Maurizio Sarri.
