Inter might not be so sure of keeping Milan Skriniar after reports his contract extension needs to be revised amid PSG interest, while Chelsea could turn to them after seemingly losing Jules Koundé to Barcelona.

Skriniar was on the market this summer for €70-80m, but Paris Saint-Germain did not reach that figure.

With his replacement Gleison Bremer going to Juventus from Torino instead, that further dampened any desire that Inter had to sell the defender.

His current contract is due to expire in June 2023 and an extension had already been agreed at €5m per season, but the PSG interest and huge salary they were due to pay could prompt his agent to ask for a raise.

Meanwhile, a domino effect could be in progress with reports this evening in Sport that Barcelona have agreed a €50m plus €10m add-ons deal with Sevilla for Koundé.

He had been on the verge of a move to Chelsea, so the Stamford Bridge side must now look elsewhere and they could be tempted to consider challenging PSG for Skriniar.
