Inter have won seven consecutive games in Serie A and are unbeaten in 10, helping them sit first in the table with a six-point gap down to Milan.

“This is no longer the crazy Inter,” Skriniar told Tuttosport. “This is [coach Antonio] Conte’s Inter.”

“This year, Serie A is more balanced than in recent seasons. We are happy to be first, but we have to stay there until the end.”

Skriniar scored the only goal in the 1-0 win over Atalanta on Monday, but the Beneamata were criticised for being too defensive against Gian Piero Gasperini’s men.

“Everyone won’t like our game, but at the moment it’s important to win,” Skriniar added. “We must score points even by playing badly.”

The Slovakia international said he will tattoo the Scudetto on his body if Inter go all the way this term.

“Now we must focus on making as few mistakes as possible,” Skriniar said. “If we win the Scudetto, I’ll tattoo it on my skin.

“It would be a moment to remember forever."
