Inter are just waiting for the right offer to arrive from Paris Saint-Germain, but Milan Skriniar has reportedly agreed personal terms, with help from Achraf Hakimi.
The centre-back was also a target for the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
However, PSG were always the most determined and put him at the top of their wish-list under new director of sport Luis Campos and coach Christophe Galtier.
According to beIN Sports, Paris Saint-Germain also had a secret weapon in former Inter full-back Achraf Hakimi, who even called Skriniar to convince him that it was the right transfer for his future.
An initial €50m offer was rejected, they are expected to come back in with a €60m proposal.
The asking price was €80, but with €65m plus a set of add-ons and performance-related bonuses, it’s likely to go through successfully.
Inter also need to make a healthy profit on the transfer market by June 30 to balance the books and trust it will be completed by that stage.
Skriniar is also swayed by an impressive five-year contract worth €8m per season.
