Milan Skriniar is not taking part in Inter’s pre-season friendly against FC Lugano, amid reports Paris Saint-Germain will soon make the winning offer.

The Nerazzurri begin their campaign this evening away to Swiss side FC Lugano, but Skriniar has been left behind to continue working in the gym in Milan.

According to Sportitalia, PSG want to get the deal done in time to bring Skriniar along on their pre-season tour of Asia, which begins on Friday.

The asking price is €70m, dropping from the original €90m, which could be reached with performance-related bonuses and add-ons.

The defender is eager to make the move to Paris, having already agreed personal terms for a massive salary increase on the deal he is currently on at San Siro.

Once Inter have sold Skriniar, they can then reinvest that sum by bringing in Gleison Bremer from Torino, although the asking price here has climbed from €35m to almost €50m.

The Nerazzurri have the upper hand because Bremer has long promised himself to them, snubbing interest from Juventus, Milan, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.
