The League leaders host La Dea at San Siro on Monday night and Skriniar claimed the home side, who could go six clear at the top, aren’t studying the table.
“We don’t look at the table,” Skriniar told Sky Sport Italia. “We know that we are up there and we want to stay there.
“Every match must be played to win.”
Atalanta have scored 60 times in Serie A this term and are second in terms of scoring, behind Inter, in the top flight.
“They are a good team in general,” Skriniar said. “They are also in a good moment. A tough match certainly awaits us.
“We have to be careful at the back.”
Skriniar said he feels good but admitted he needed some time to adapt to a back-three.
“You’ll have to be the judge,” he continued. “I feel good and I try to improve every day.
“I’m working an understanding things better. Before, I wasn’t used to playing with three at the back and it took some time.
“We are all growing, not just me.”
