Inter captain Milan Skriniar has seemingly confirmed that a pre-contract agreement with Paris Saint-Germain has been signed, ‘but I am waiting for the two clubs to reach an agreement’ on a January transfer.

It was reported yesterday that Skriniar has already put pen to paper on a pre-contract agreement with the Ligue 1 giants and he seemed to acknowledge that in an interview with futbolsfz.sk.

“Yes, it’s true, but I cannot give any more details right now. I am waiting for the two clubs to reach an agreement.”

The defender has already made it clear his future is not at San Siro, as his agent announced that the contract extension offer has been rejected.

His deal is due to expire on June 30, so Inter are in negotiations with PSG to make a January deal and avoid losing one of their star men as a free agent in the summer.

It is claimed that Inter are asking for €20m to let him leave six months early and turned down an initial proposal worth just under €10m, but the talks are continuing.

Inter had rejected offers of over €60m from PSG last summer, confident that he would sign a new contract with them.
