Roma goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will be out for up to six weeks after dislocating his finger.

The Polish international was injured in a clash with Luis Suarez during last night’s 1-1 Champions League draw with Barcelona.

It was confirmed this morning that the on-loan Arsenal man had dislocated his finger, but a recovery time could only be established by further scans.

Following further assessment, Roma Radio confirms that Szczesny will be out for between four and six weeks.

That could see the goalkeeper miss two Champions League ties, as well as trips to Palermo and Sampdoria.
