Six different clubs from three different European nations are all reportedly interested in striking a deal with former Juventus midfielder and current free agent Adrien Rabiot, according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Less than a week before the start of the Serie A season, the France international still finds himself without a club after bidding farewell to Juventus in an Instagram video in July. He had spent five seasons in Turin, following 150 Ligue 1 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain.

Rabiot is represented by his mother, Veronique, who has garnered a reputation as being a tough character to negotiate with. Though her son is available as a free agent, the reality is that his signing would still be a costly affair with salaries and signing-on bonuses included.

Which clubs are interested in Rabiot?

Veronique Rabiot confirmed to La Gazzetta dello Sport that she has spoken to various clubs this summer, but gave few further details away, suggesting that ‘nobody else should speak on my behalf’.

Still, La Gazzetta dello Sport believe there are six clubs interested in picking five-time Ligue 1 champion up.

They include a quartet of Premier League sides in Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, as well as Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray.

Atletico Madrid had also considered a move, but then agreed a deal for Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher instead. However, that deal now looks to be on hold, which could re-open the door for talks between Rabiot and Diego Simeone’s side.
