Salvatore Sirigu is unlikely to return to Italy next summer given that he’s set to sign a new deal at Paris Saint-Germain.

There were reports that the Italian international could be targeted by a number of Serie A clubs as his contract is set to expire in June 2015.

According to France Football, though, the custodian is set to be offered new terms in the French capital until 2017.

The 26-year-old moved to PSG in July 2011 after leaving Palermo for a fee of just €3.5m.

Sirigu has won six caps for his country and is expected to be one of the three ‘keepers who Italy take to the World Cup next summer.
