The goalkeeping merry-go-round is in full swing, with Salvatore Sirigu close to Lazio and Fiorentina choosing Pierluigi Gollini.

Several Serie A sides are changing their shot-stopper this summer and it is causing a chain effect throughout the league.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Lazio are in advanced negotiations with Genoa veteran Sirigu, who is a free agent after his contract with the Grifone expired.

The 35-year-old is the replacement for Thomas Strakosha, who is heading for the Premier League after his contract ran down.

Meanwhile, Calciomercato.com claim that Fiorentina have chosen Gollini, who is on the Atalanta books and just returned from a loan spell with Tottenham Hotspur.

It is likely to be a loan deal with option to buy at the end of the season.

This would represent a return to the Stadio Artemio Franchi for Gollini, who already played in their youth academy from 2010 to 2012.
