Mario Balotelli’s adventure in Switzerland has not started on the front foot, with the Italian striker reportedly seen staggering out of a nightclub in Lausanne.
The 32-year-old forward had a good year last campaign with Adana Demirspor, netting 19 goals in 35 appearances, and he joined FC Sion in a deal worth around €3m at the end of the summer transfer window. Balotelli has made two appearances off the bench for the Swiss side following his arrival, putting together little of note.
As reported by Actu Foot, Balotelli has been absent from training for the last few days due to an apparent bout of bronchitis, but fans have been left frustrated after images emerged showing him staggering out of a nightclub in Lausanne, being shakily supported by two friends.
An ever-controversial figure, the 32-year-old Italian striker will now have to work hard to kick things off properly in Switzerland following a rough start.
