Salernitana have reportedly reached an agreement with Crotone striker Nwankwo Simy worth €1m a season.
Simy’s move to Salernitana is scheduled to be completed before the Granata face Reggina in the first round of the Coppa Italia on Monday.
TMW reports the Nigerian has reached an agreement worth €1m plus a sign-on-fee and he is expected to sign after August 15.
Salernitana have reportedly signed the player for €6m from Crotone, where he scored 20 goals in 38 Serie A games last term.
The 29-year-old centre forward has four senior caps for Nigeria and there will be a 10 per cent cut of any future transfer fee going to Crotone.
