The Nerazzurri are wondering whether to keep hold of Leonardo after bringing him in on Christmas Eve to replace Benitez.
“It may seem paradoxical, but in case Leonardo is not confirmed on the Inter bench, I would recall Benitez,” said Simoni.
“I don't think he should've been sent away in the first place. Benitez is a talented Coach who was forced to work in impossible conditions.”
