Defender Stefan Simic has ended his six-year stay at Milan to join Croatian side Hajduk Split.

Simic has signed a four-year contract with Hajduk, although a transfer fee remains undisclosed.

The 24-year-old moved to Milan from Genoa in 2013 but played just once for the Rossoneri, against Luxembourgish minnows Dudelange in the Europa League last season.

Despite his Croatian surname, he represents Czech Republic at international level.

Simic is the seventh player to leave the Diavolo this summer after Riccardo Montolivo, Ignazio Abate, Cristian Zapata, Andrea Bertolacci, Jose Mauri and Tiemoue Bakayoko.
