Former Milan and Inter defender Dario Simic has officially joined Palermo as a “personal consultant to President Maurizio Zamparini.”
The club is in turmoil again after sacking Roberto De Zerbi to bring in Eugenio Corini, their third Coach of the season.
This evening the Sicilians released a statement confirming that there is another new member of the staff.

“We are pleased to announce that Dario Simic will become part of the Palermo technical staff as personal consultant to the President to link and support between the club and Coach, staff and team.
“A warm welcome, hoping that his experience as a great player can help us to achieve safety.”
Croatia international Simic retired in 2010 after a career that saw him play for Dinamo Zagreb, Inter, Milan and Monaco.
He was in Serie A from 1998 to 2008, representing both sides of San Siro.
